If you’ve always wondered how we get those expressive pictures or why we need to take 300 pictures just to get 10 usable ones…

The girls love taking their baths…and we love it when all the spit up & formula is cleaned off…however short that lasts:

A Christmas Finale

7 Jan

Uncle Danny, Aunt Shondra, and the Top Cousins – Noah and Chloe finally got to come up for a Christmas visit.

The entire family took a turn getting sick since Christmas and finally were able to come up.  We had a great time and I know the babes did too.  Getting to grill pork and burgers in January added quite a nice touch to dinner.

Now, I’m just realizing (again) that I did a poor job getting photos, but thankfully Christine grabbed a quick phone pic.

Uncle Danny, also known around these parts as “The Baby Whisperer”:

More of Christmas 2011

28 Dec

We had a pretty nice First Christmas with the girls…

Crying babies and rocking chairs are a long way from Egg Nog and Crazy Bridge, but even though we were unable to make it to the Great Grand Bruegs on Xmas Eve we are hoping that everyone had a nice time.  We are really thankful that they came over on Friday night to see the girls (I can’t believe that I don’t have a picture of it right now!)

The girls also really missed not getting to see their 2 cousins, Aunt Shondra, and Uncle Danny.  They’ve had an illness bouncing around the house and Uncle Danny wasn’t feeling very well.  We really appreciate the sacrifice the entire family made not to bring anything into the house and possibly get the girls sick.  But I promise…the Tree will stay UP and the presents will be here until they can make it!!  Hopefully, we can all get together this weekend.

We hope everyone in the Klump family also had a really nice Christmas, and we’re sorry we couldn’t make that one either!  When T-dub said “welcome to your new reality”, he wasn’t lying.  We used to run to 3-4 different houses in a day and a half all over an hour from each other; that just wasn’t going to be possible with these new twins!

Merry Christmas everyone…and be safe this coming weekend.  GET A SOBER DRIVER.
